Christmas Fun

Monday evening was the annual New Concord Christmas parade. It was very cold!! despite the cold we had a blast. Before the parade, the local 5Th grade class sang Christmas Carols. Then , we were each given candles to hold as everyone sang Silent Night. At the end of the song, the big tree was lit up with a zillion lights! :) All the local businesses in town passed out free hot chocolate and cookies! (My personal favorite part). Right outside the Library was a live nativity set! After all that then the parade started. By the end of the Parade we ended up with a large amount of candy in our basket we brought! When all that fun ended, we walked up to the bank got some more free hot chocolate and cookies (again my favorite part), then it was off to the hardware for free carmel popcorn freshly popped! As you can see we had a great time. I hope you all have a great Christmas season! We are!!!! :)
